Starlight Starbright

To be unique or not to be, that is the question?  When choosing what kind of coat I wanted for the upcoming winter  I, like any girl, searched the racks for a comfy, warm, and cute coat. Unfortunately  I found nothing that sparked my interest except this beautiful ombre shag jacket I came upon online. Although I knew wearing this jacket would get many stares from others when walking around my college campus, the inner fashionista  in me said "to be unique is to be different", and with that I chose to embrace this quality of mine and rock this jacket to the fullest!

Take Me to Pluto

In my 20 years of life this has been my most favorite shoot to date (yes I'm super dramatic). For Thread Magazine we did an alien inspired shoot where we got to use our full on creative edge to make our models  look out of this world, literally. I chose to do crazy colorful makeup with tons of glitter which adds so much more to a look.

Behind the scenes

AMAZE!

A high cut swimsuit, polka dot tights, a crazy blonde wig, with spike hoops = a masterpiece.

Thanks to my model Eudora she made this an amazing shoot! xoxo

Deck the Halls

One of the best times of the year are the holidays and one thing us girls always want is to be super cute for that holiday party were going to. You don't have to wear that little black dress that you  always reside to in your closet for every occasion  try something different.  Jazz up your makeup and add a smokey eye with a berry lip, wear an oversize knit sweater with chunky jewelry  even show some leg in your outfit...yes ladies  its the holiday, but showing  leg never huts!

Having a little pow wow before shooting

Adding different shades of red to the lips gives you the chance to create your own color of choice.

Remember don't wear too many colors, were speaking of the traditional reds and greens. Add neutrals, but then add some prints as well whether its floral or polka dots your holiday outfit will be a unique show stopper.

Love, Angel, Music, Baby

Of course one of my fav things to do are photo shoots and this 6 Looks Shoot defiantly sparked my inner fashionista! The creative direction for this shoot was based on the fashion capitals of the world including the big apple NYC, LA, London, Italy, Paris, and Tokyo. The city I choose to interpret was the quirky Harajuku beloved Tokyo, not only was I inspired by my Gwen Stefani days of wishing I could be as cool as her Harajuku Lovers, but also by the whimsical street style that can be very extreme or soft and fluid.

I decided to play up the makeup and add a geisha inspired lip to a clean face, but instead of just a penciled in eyebrow why not make things a little more fun and add a ton of glitter to them! Might sound a little crazy, but it enhances the look and adds some spunk! -Sleek hair also adds edge to the entire look

Playing with shapes and prints always makes an outfit more interesting. Although deciding to put Chu in stripes on stripes on stripes, having the size of the stripes be different including the top being tighter and the harem pants being of a lax fit doesn't over power the look. The army print and Gaga heels add a punch to complete this look.

Thanks to my model Chu Wu!
